What House Award Winners

Gold Property Developments are delighted to announce that we have received planning permission from Brighton & Hove’s Planning Committee to build 72 new homes in Saltdean.

The Gold team were delighted to be awarded the top prize at this year’s WhatHouse? Awards for Best Sustainable Development. Our Fairbrook Grove Development in Faversham, Kent, was given the Gold award by judges who described it as “exemplary for a number of reasons.”

Among the reasons is Fairbrook Grove’s forward-looking approach to sustainability, including using heat pumps in advance of new regulations banning new gas connections. WhatHouse? described the Passive House project’s approach as “one that larger developers should follow if we are to meet our collective desire to limit climate change.”

“The developer and its architect, InsideOut, have expended considerable effort to demonstrate the highest level of sustainability credentials. A lot of work has gone into the detailed design of the building fabric, and the construction of the buildings has been researched thoroughly before starting onsite.”

Fairbrook Grove comprises of 14 detached and link-detached homes, finished to an exceptionally high standard, with three, four or five bedrooms, each with a private garden and single or double garage. The buildings feature ultra-modern designs that still reflect the local architecture in the pitched roofs and the choice of brick, slate and natural timber cladding.
