Coombe Farm Saltdean Project progress since the turn of the year.
With plenty of green space, picturesque views and just a stone throw away from the south coast we are truly delighted to be able to provide 72 new homes for the local community of Saltdean. Once again Inside Out Architect have created a truly incredible design that integrates into the existing surroundings complimenting the South Downs National Park and focusing on important key aspects such as ecology and landscaping!
An unbelievable amount of hard work and planning has gone into the scheme so far and we could not be happier with this positive outcome for a great start on site.
PROGRESS IN THE PERIOD:
Continued with the brickwork to superstructure on Phases 1-3.
Completed the concrete foundations to Phase 5.
Commenced substructure blockwork to Phase 5.
Commenced installing the roof trusses to Phase 1.
Commenced installing the concrete retaining walls and bases to Phase 4.
NOTABLE DATES
We are looking to commence the installation of the main access road drainage in March / April. Access to existing drives and the Stables will be maintained at all times.
FUN FACT
We have laid over 500 grow bags to form some of the retaining walls to the perimeter of the project, these will be planted up towards the end of the project.
